This is my current garden... an ongoing project & yet one which has reached it's natural boundary within the orchard that surrounds it. In this case I started with nothing more than pasture surrounding the mobile home & a stack of pallets as makeshift steps up to the door (as you can see from the photo below left). For once though, the site had a lot going for it, being south facing & sheltered from the north by a high hedge. Here I have made great use of available resources, both local & free of charge & have made the most of the vertical growing opportunities & water catchment. I have also experimented with different mulching techniques throughout the garden's creation.
