Teaching

I now have many years of experience in both communicating ideas to others & in the practical application of permaculture design principles. I have been given the opportunity, by sharing what I have learned about applying these principles in my own life to bring the two together & help others to develop sustainable lifestyles for themselves.

I teach on both short Permaculture Taster Days & longer Full Permaculture Design Courses, along with more Specialist Courses. I am a founder member of the Designed Visions teaching partnership that brings together the diverse skills & experience of four permaculture teachers & designers. Designed Visions now runs such courses, on which I often co-teach, as well as providing other design & consultancy services.

I also teach basic gardening skills to disadvantaged groups through community funded programmes. I am in the process of producing various teaching aids aimed at both teachers & students, starting with a CDROM of 'Best designs'; coming soon....
